Day 2: Guwahati Sightseeing – Museums, Temples & Local Culture

After breakfast, proceed for a full day of Guwahati sightseeing. Visit the Assam State Museum, showcasing rich history, tribal culture, crafts, weapons, and manuscripts.

Continue to Balaji Temple or Basistha Ashram, serene spiritual locations ideal for relaxation and photography.

Day 3: Guwahati → Shillong – Umiam Lake & Local Tour

After breakfast, drive to Shillong — the ‘Scotland of the East.’

En route stop at the stunning Umiam Lake (Barapani). Enjoy photography and optional activities like kayaking, boating or zip-lining.

Day 5: Laitlum Canyon + Mawlynnong – Dawki – Root Bridge

After breakfast, visit the breathtaking Laitlum Canyon, one of the most scenic viewpoints in Meghalaya. Known as the "End of the Hills," Laitlum offers panoramic canyon views, deep gorges, and spectacular landscapes ideal for photography and nature lovers.

Then proceed to Mawlynnong, Asia’s Cleanest Village, known for its bamboo pathways, gardens, and cleanliness. Visit the famous Living Root Bridge, a natural wonder crafted from living tree roots.

Continue to Dawki, renowned for the crystal-clear Umngot River. Enjoy transparent boat rides, riverside photography and visit the India–Bangladesh border viewpoint.

Day 6: Shillong → Kaziranga – Orchid Park & Tea Gardens

After breakfast, begin your drive to Kaziranga National Park, home to the world’s largest population of the One-Horned Rhinoceros.

Day 7: Kaziranga Safari → Guwahati – Departure

Early morning, enjoy an adventurous Elephant Safari (subject to availability) offering close encounters with rhinos, wild buffaloes, deer, and exotic birdlife.

Return to your resort for breakfast. Optional Jeep Safari can also be arranged depending on timing and availability.

Check out and drive back to Guwahati. Drop at the Airport or Railway Station.
