ASSAM, MEGHALAYA, ARUNACHAL PRADESH TOUR

Day 1: Arrival at Guwahati – Kamakhya Temple & River Cruise

  • Arrive in Guwahati and transfer to your hotel.

​

  • After freshening up, visit the holy Kamakhya Temple located atop Nilachal Hills.

​

  • Then proceed to Umananda Temple on Peacock Island via ferry.

​

  • In the evening, enjoy a soothing Brahmaputra River Sunset Cruise.

​

  • Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Day 2: Guwahati Sightseeing

  • After breakfast, explore notable attractions including Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra, Assam State Museum, and Assam Zoo (optional).

  • Later visit Basistha or Balaji Temple.

  • Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Day 3: Guwahati → Kaziranga

  • Drive to Kaziranga National Park through beautiful tea gardens. Check-in at the resort.

Day 4: Kaziranga Safaris

Day 5: Kaziranga → Shillong

  • Check-out and drive towards Shillong. Visit the stunning Umiam Lake viewpoint en route.

  • Check-in and enjoy free time at Police Bazar. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 6: Cherrapunji Day Trip

  • Enjoy a full-day trip to Cherrapunji.

  • Visit spectacular waterfalls like Nohkalikai, Seven Sisters, and explore limestone caves such as Mawsmai and Arwah.

​

  • Visit Eco Park. Return to Shillong for overnight stay.

Day 7: Mawlynnong – Dawki Day Trip

  • After breakfast, visit Mawlynnong, the Cleanest Village in Asia. Walk to the Living Root Bridge.

  • Continue to Dawki for crystal-clear river boating and Bangladesh border viewpoint.

​

  • Return to Shillong for overnight stay.

Day 8: Shillong Local Sightseeing

  • Explore Shillong city attractions including Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak, Ward’s Lake, Don Bosco Museum, and the Cathedral Church. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 9: Shillong → Bhalukpong/Dirang

  • Begin your journey into Arunachal Pradesh.

  • Visit Tipi Orchid Centre if staying at Bhalukpong, or explore Dirang Monastery and Hot Water Spring if staying at Dirang.

​

  • Overnight stay.

Day 10: Dirang → Tawang

  • Drive through breathtaking mountain landscapes.

  • Visit Sela Pass covered with snow in winters, Sela Lake, and Jaswant Garh War Memorial. Reach Tawang and check-in.

​

  • Overnight stay in Tawang.

Day 11: Tawang Local Sightseeing

  • Visit the famous Tawang Monastery, one of the largest in Asia.

  • Explore the Tawang War Memorial, Giant Buddha Statue, and local Craft Centre. Overnight stay in Tawang.

Day 12: Tawang → Bum La – Madhuri Lake – PTSO Lake

  • Full-day excursion to the high-altitude region.

  • Visit Bum La Pass at the India-China border, the scenic Madhuri Lake, and PTSO Lake.

  • Return to Tawang for overnight stay.

Day 13: Tawang → Dirang/Bomdila

  • Begin return journey with an overnight halt at Dirang or Bomdila. Enjoy valley views and local experiences.

Day 14: Dirang/Bomdila → Guwahati (Departure)

  • Drive back to Guwahati.

  • Drop at Airport/Railway Station. Tour ends with beautiful memories.
