Day 1: Arrival at Guwahati – Gateway to Northeast India

Day 4: Kaziranga – Wildlife Safaris & Nature Trails

Day 5: Kaziranga → Shillong – The Scotland of the East

Day 6: Cherrapunjee (Sohra) – Land of Clouds & Waterfalls

Take a scenic drive to Cherrapunjee, famous for being one of the wettest places on Earth. Visit the spectacular Nohkalikai Falls, plunging from a great height into a turquoise pool below.

Day 9: Dirang → Tawang – A Journey Through Majestic Mountain Passes

Drive to Tawang, passing through dramatic landscapes. The highlight is Sela Pass at 13,700 feet, often covered in snow, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. Beside it lies the serene Sela Lake, known for its crystal-clear waters.

Visit Jaswant Garh War Memorial, built in honour of Rifleman Jaswant Singh, who fought bravely during the 1962 Indo-China War.

Continue to the magnificent Nuranang Waterfall before reaching Tawang.

Day 10: Tawang – Monasteries, Culture & Mountain Views

Explore Tawang Monastery, the largest in India and an architectural masterpiece. Surrounded by stunning mountain ranges, the monastery houses ancient scriptures, murals, and statues of Lord Buddha.

Visit Urgelling Monastery, birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama, followed by Tawang War Memorial, a beautifully constructed structure honouring the bravery of Indian soldiers. Spend the evening exploring local markets and trying Tibetan cuisine.
